Vitter Commends FEMA for Plan to Waive Disaster Debt

 (Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Sen. David Vitter today applauded reports of a decision by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to begin waiving repayments for victims of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and other disasters. Vitter made the following statement that also pointed out some potential concerns with FEMA’s plan.
